The last few weeks I have been going down to the Bicycle Kitchen, building my own bike from scratch. The process has been pretty tedious (not including the 7 mile round trip walk), but tonight I finally finished! I am a little too worn out from the building/cruising around to do my usual Tuesday post. Sorry. Hope this can tide you over till next week.

This is Bill Hicks

I have been trying to watch all of his stand-up, but unfortunately I can't find much of it on YouTube. However, there are a ton of awesome interviews on there. This one below is my favorite.

On May 20th of last year, I started BJ's Video Of The Day. I created the blog for two reasons. One, I wanted a place where I could house all the funny/cool videos I was coming across everyday (later I found that YouTube had removed a few of them, somewhat defeating the purpose). Two, I wanted to test my ability to do something relatively simple everyday, requiring me to reserve time for finding a good video and posting it.

Throughout this year of blogging, I have posted everything from the inspiring to the downright bizarre. Sometimes I attempted to have the videos/themes act as an abstract journal post about what was going on in my life. Sometimes I attempted to predict the videos that were destined to go "viral". Overall, this little experiment has been a very fun learning experience about myself and about blogging.

As I approach my 365th post, I am reposting my favorite 10 videos of the last year, starting on May 5th and ending on May 14th. Tune in this week to check out the Top 3!
